But this date does mark the beginning of busier times on the Jersey Shore. The days are longer, the sun is warmer, and holiday celebrations abound. Memorial Day Weekend marks the official start of summer in Cape May. It’s a very busy time packed with celebratory events hosted by Cape May MAC and other local organizations.
